The World Ruler - Part 29

The World Ruler - Part 29
08.11.2020 LISTEN

"Europe is tired, I am telling you the truth. China is too much busy with itself, too big in the end to swallow all of Africa and the rest of the world. They wish they could do that. To their credit it must be said in the past they were successful in their thinking and strategy. But over time even they had come to understand and accept one nation, or one block of nations alone cannot solve the problems that came with the overpopulation of Africa. This continent is simply too of a big cake to swallow, you rather chock yourself to death. And that is what had happened before they had joined hands to push the new Kingdom of Ghana into the light of history as a raw model for the entire African continent to make an effective change and manager their affairs," cut Minister Justice Alooma his fried German sausage with French Fries by the side and a delightful decorated fresh cucumber, broccoli, paprika and tomato mixed salat with French Dressing made with fresh yoghurt from a nearby farm. He paused, looked over the Gulf of Guinea seeing in the background the Home for old people from around the world enjoying the third half of their lives under the sun with the most welcoming people, in a country that was safe, not much crime to be observed, and that gave them a sense of dignity, of being used. "When we get old...we still are worth something and old ready to die. So, over there, like in other places of our country also, we give your old folks a meaningful time before their Maker will call them...and their love it so much. And our people love them so much, too. There they are kept active and part of our local communities as long as they can stand on their own feet. Once that is no more possible, our people see them as family members and take always good care of them until the end eventually comes. In your societies, old folks are visited eventually sporadically by their children from time to time when they think their conscious is demanding the visit. No, here it comes from our heart, it is in our blood to care for our families, our parents. And not to forget to mention the children around love to play and visit our old people here and learn so much from them. Always when I visit such homes my heart is filled with great joy, with happiness in all parts of my body."

Charles Bravioury looked over to the home on a hill in the distance of the bay curving down to Coconut Beach and Labadi Beach and said while taking a deep breath: "Nothing last forever!"

"When you look around the world and check out history what do you see?"

"What do you mean by that, Minister?"

"How much has the world changed?"

"Oh Minister, the world has changed a lot. We are no longer hunting for food or walking into the forest to look for mushrooms and berries, but know the art of farming, fly to the moon and back on a shuttle service, have driverless cars and driverless buses, High-Speed Trains...," counted the Welsh Man all the latest invention. He was stopped by the looks of Minister Justice Alooma.

"That is not what I mean. What I mean is this world has always seen other people and foreign nationals to stand above other people and foreign nations...right?"

"Please Minister, enlighten me more on the point you are trying to make...please," asked Charles Bravioury pushing his plate to the side with one look onto his caramel pudding with blueberries imported from South Africa.

"Empires, later called Superpowers, had dominated the world for centuries all around the world. Both were intended to rule the world or most of it leaving the rest of the world standing small and in constant focus not to rise against the empire or Superpower, isn`t that correct, Sir?"

"From what I know...I guess...yes, that seems to be a fair and correct observation, Minister!"

"The Roman Empire, the Osman Empire and the other empires we could mention, all of them were so powerful that during their time on earth no one would have ever dared to question their power and existence...isn`t that true?"

"Minister...I have no objection to mention."

"Now...here we come," said minister Justice Alooma with great wisdom in his eyes having the salty smell of the Gulf of Guinea in his nose like a fine brise of a witness to what humans had gone through in all their life on earth. "So, think and think well. All Empires once too powerful beyond thinking to even oppose them...they are all gone...no more to be found than only in history books."

"Minister...I could not agree more!" said Charles Bravioury excited to hear more and more.

"With Superpowers is just the same. Both have the same in common," smiled Minister Justice Alooma getting his ice-cream decorated with candies and a ripe banana ready to eat. "What they have in common is that at a certain point in time, I mean their development, the Empires and Superpowers started to eventually collapse over the following three or four or slightly more generations....but eventually collapsed to pave the way for new countries, new Superpowers, maybe one day again Empires...who knows Is that correct also?"

"Most certainly, Minister," mentioned Charles Bravioury with eyes watching and challenging his mind to suck out all the ideas and information the Minister had in his mind.

"That means, what matters is to allocate that moment that is a clear indication as to when the Empire and Superpower are about to collapse and be replaced as a vacuum mankind is never comfortable with and will never allow happening."

"That moment seems to be crucial, indeed...Minister."

"And when you know that moment you the outside world can prepare yourself well as when the collapse is about to come and see the light of the day...you take over to avoid any harmful vacuum or to push others that are as smart as you are aside not to rise to make it in history."

"Minister, where are you going...what is on your mind?"

"An Empire, like a Superpower, it can only be called as such when their inner spirit is strong. When people are standing like one in society, when they move as one with one mind, one goal, one target, one spirit...nothing can stop them. They take it all...and quite rightly so as the others once are weak in their talking and actions. The moment that spirit is a nation or a block of nations or even an entire continent...what is going to happen is that mankind sees the new Ruler of the world sitting on his throne for as long as he keeps the momentum and refreshes himself all the time before the fall eventually will hit him and other countries and nations will sit on his seat."

"Minister...so might argue that some Empire and Superpowers collapse because the forces from outside against them were simply too hard, too much."

Minister Justice Alooma enjoyed the cream that covered his banana on the ice-cream and laughed: "Sure, simple-minded people might argue like that...but wise people know it much better. When outside forces come against an Empire or Superpower, both can only collapse when they are no longer strong inside...and their inner strength made them powerful in the first place. When that momentum is not with them anymore, outside forces have an easy game to collapse any of them. Therefore, the lesson to learn from history is?"

"Check nations and hear the sounds of the trumpets"

"Exactly, my good friend," cut the Minister his banana in half to have an easier go on eating it, "so best you observe nations very well, look behind the spoken words, their agenda and try to understand what is going on, which moment can be seen as the starting point of their collapse and prepare yourself to take over...simple as that!"

"So, when the moral spirit of an Empire and Superpower is no more, a new Ruler is around the corner to take over," repeated Charles Bravioury the ideas of the Minister finishing his ice-cream fast as his driver was fast approaching to remind him of his next meeting in Bergo in his office and the afternoon traffic in Accra and Dodowa might be serious. "You should have one of these small helicopters that can also be a car and fly over any traffic problem. I guess you would reach much faster."

"You are right," agreed Minister Justice Alooma holding the open door of his car in his hand and looked up seeing one small personal helicopter was about to land on a football field that the local authorities had built behind what was the former eye-clinic opposite Shoprite Junction Mall. "We have quite several such flying machines," did he laugh seeing how the helicopter was coming down to land, "and it makes me very happy to see the flexibility in our transport system. To use only the two-dimensional roads...come on, these days...a country should be serious and allow the use of three dimensions. In all of Africa Ghana was the first country to allow such from rapid transport in their air space and the laws we had to pass for this intervention we did in record time. As more and more people come on board and take to the skies in their small private helicopters and other flying machines that our students are working on as we speak...that is true leadership of the best kind!"

"It surely is, Minister," agreed Charles Bravioury wishing Minister Justice Alooma a pleasant flight. Before the Minister was driven off he was hearing that he ministerial work often would prefer the car as it helps him to do his work better using laptops and other materials while sitting in the rear seats and at the same time see the life of his people as it is and not only as shadows from above.

"You have to go, my wife is about to come," woke Eric Donkor Aisha up. "Come on, do not be a fool. You need to wake up and leave. So, here are your clothes, grab some doughnuts from the kitchen, take an orange juice and off you go."

Aisha looked at Eric Donkor with the tired face being angry to be kicked out. She knew she had nothing to say. "Your wife is coming...is that what you are saying?"

"Yes, she is about to come, and it is not good for you to be around by that time. so, do not waste my time and leave...hurry up!" shouted Eric Donkor being under stress. He tidied up the living room, looked into the bathroom to take the lipstick of Aisha away and stuffed it into her handbag lying in the hallway He runs into the kitchen. Wine glasses with lipstick, her artificial blond hair was the next job for him to clear and make them disappear. From far was he hearing the car of his wife approaching. Soon it would be parked right in front of their house. She would get out, but the key into the door lock, turn it around, open the door to stand right in the middle of the aftermath of a hot night he husband had with his girl-friend. His head turned red; his heart was pumping. He ran around the house like a mad person.

"Come on...Aisha...do is not such a fool. You enjoyed my sex, I chopped your body and sweating hot love...you know I cannot get so easily away from your body that gives me so much pleasure...but you also know I am married and you know my wife is very jealous. Sá. Please get moving and walk out through the back door, sneak around the house the moment my wife has entered and made sure not to be seen by too many people. You know, people around here like to gossip too much. And when my wife hears about you...I am dead and gone. So, do not waste time and get out from here."

"Which wife of yours is coming? Number one or number two?" was Aisha provoking him and smiled all over her face. She was holding few banknotes in her hands given by him for the purpose she should buy herself something nice and wait until he would call her to signal open doors for her again.

"Does it matter which of the two is coming? I am traditionally married to them, even to one legally...so, what? All that matters that they are not supposed to know about you and see you here. So, Aisha, this is the moment of truth. I can hear her at the door how she is putting her key into the look. before she turned the key, the back door to the garden must be shut and you must be gone," pushed Eric Donkor harder against the right shoulder of his girl-friend with everything big an African man likes to enjoy, breast and hips. She was looking normal, nothing special about her face, not noticeable in the streets, except the God-given big lips to kiss well and sweet, the breasts that looked like weapons to make any man unconscious during heavy sex while she was sitting on top and her hips bringing out her bottom very well, a button someone could easily stand on to climb over the fence of the neighbour. Aisha was gone, his wife Abena had arrived.

"Are your people coming in the evening?" asked Abena putting her grocery on the kitchen table.

"Sure, even before possibly," answered Eric Donkor watching his wife the shopping into the fridge. He told him what she should serve his friends and not to be part of the meeting as what they had to share would be top secret. He saw how she looked at him with a grim face. As she depended on him financially to speak her mind was not the best idea. She had learnt when to keep her mouth shut and when to talk.

It was dark outside, cold touched the windows. Winter was about to hit the country. They all hated cold in Europe causing them body pain. As real Africans, born under the sun and heat, they enjoyed warmth over the cold of Europe. No one had ever dared to go any further north to check out the North Pole or Scandinavia in the wintertime. Christmas Man and Sancta Claus were figures they only wanted to enjoy in their bellies made of chocolate. some of his fellow countrymen were in constant medical treatment during winter for bones hurting them.

"So, boys," opened Eric Donkor meeting with HTH snaps and whiskey on the table, "what is your plan. What shall we do?"

Kwame Owusu, the speaker of the group, spoke on their behave and said: "The weakness and foolishness of King Thomas are that he had allowed in the new constitution to have the Panel of five Elders that in case of corruption or him working against the interest of the good people of Ghana they have a right to arrest him and take him from the throne. Now, this weakness, this open door, we are going to use for us."

"What do you mean, speak up and let me hear details!" challenged Eric Donkor being very interested in hearing more about the evil plan of his friends.

"We must ensure that everything goes accordingly to the law. A coup would be useless but the use of the open door of weakness...that`s where we can strike to get King Thomas crashed and our people behind us."

Eric Donkor got angrier and angrier unable to still sit in his armchair walking up and down the room." And how do you want to achieve that? King Thomas did not do anything wrong; I mean nothing against the constitution nor our people!"

"But against us," mentioned Kwame Owusu with power in his voice. He saw his friends agreeing with him.

"Yes, sure...against us...and the legacy of our forefathers...such fine, fine man that cared for the nation and took great care of their own families and friends." Eric Donkor and the rest were unable to stop laughing their head off. They took to snaps and whiskey enjoying the cake homemade by Abena and took each to a second helping. "That should be enough to punish him and kick him out of the country...like all the other foreigners, especially the white folks. After all, we are free and can manage our affairs...all we must do is to copy King Thomas and turn things our way!" Laughter filled the Livingroom hot by now from sweating bodies.

"to get back to our plan, please," asked Kwame Owusu for silence and attention. "We will fabricate evidence of corruption. He has not done anything like that but the documents that we have made...you can see here right in my hand...they are perfectly made. No one will ever find out that they are fake documents, masterminded by some of us...never we have credible actors that can stage door witnesses and they will testify to this documents so that King Thomas will look bad, real bad...a corrupt man."

"Are you sure this will work and not eventually one day come back to us like a boomerang to behead us all?" wanted Eric Donkor reassurance.

"Did I ever let you down?" asked Kwame Owusu looking his boss straight into the eyes.

"I just have to convince myself in all the details involved that nothing, absolutely nothing can ever go wrong," justified Eric Donkor his concerns. He looked at the documents right before his eyes laying on the table for everyone to see. He took a deep breath and looked around his friends, each of them into their eyes. His instinct, his intuition wanted to find out whether or not someone among them would eventually one odd day turn around and unveil the truth towards the good people of Ghana and world history. After he had convinced himself that the documents were real fakes that could convince the Council of elders to arrest King Thomas did he sit back in his armchair, relaxed and looked to the ceiling for this his mind to hold its many voices for a few important moments.

"What our experts have also done is to hack the Email account of King Thomas and put information there that clearly will convince the Council of Elders he took money to facilitate the new High-speed train to Wa in the north of the country, bribery he had always condemned...now linked to it very well, " explained Kwame Owusu the details toasting with snaps.
