Dr. Emmanuel Acheampong, affectionately called Lord Ayass Baba has lashed out at politicians and their followers who are fond of invoking curses and nursing evil thoughts on each other.
He noted that such acts retrogress the development of a country.
According to him, the universe and everything therein is a spirit entity - humans are spirit beings and the land is also a spirit - and the spiritual makeup of every land controls the progress of the land.
In an interview with Sun TV Gh, he said there is always interconnectivity between what people say and what people think. Hence thing negative or positive is what will befall the land.
“If the inhabitants resort to negative actions and words, it will definitely affect the land and its progress. Due to that, whatever politicians do or say have serious consequences on the land”, Lord Ayass Baba said.
He added, “The collective mental make-up of a people will determine the direction of the country, therefore invoking curses on each other is the most dangerous thing to do in a country.”
Dr. Emmanuel Acheampong stressed that, by invoking curses, we are rather diverting the positive spiritual make-up of the country which we shall pay for it.
He urged politicians to stop invoking curses and evil thoughts against each other since no nation can progress with curses and evil thoughts.
“If our traditional leaders keep mute on this issue, the cumulative effect will be disastrous for us. Traditional rulers should make sure they sanction anyone who indulges in such acts”, he concluded.
