Ghanaian socialite Rosemond Alade Brown, known widely as Akuapem Poloo has opined on her new lifestyle.

Akuapem Poloo, who used to be a very controversial socialite, says she twerks no more.

The converted Muslim has stated that she is a different person with a new lifestyle that does not align with her past where she used to go naked and wear brands.

"For the previous five years, whatever I did or said made headlines in the community, but I’ve kept a low profile for a year now on purpose.

"No more twerking or showing off the body.
"That was in the past; the new me no longer behaves in that way," she said in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

She disclosed that she has benefited a lot from her new lifestyle and will never go back to the past.

"I have been able to avoid difficulties, which is benefiting me greatly." "I used to be paid by individuals to promote their songs or items for them, and I would twerk to promote whatever it was, but I’ve pledged never to do that again," she concluded.

Akuapem Poloo was recently appointed a brand influencer for Joy Daddy Industries, producers of Joy Daddy Bitters after the beverage company parted ways with Daddy Lumba, a seasoned Ghanaian highlife singer.
