Meet the 'Temperature' boys

They have been making waves on TV and on the internet with their semi-animated music video for their single, 'Temperature' which was directed by Phamous People. So who are they in real life?

Ball J's Biography:
Albert Ayeh am a.k.a. Ball.J, a young talented producer and rapper was born in the city of Accra,Ghana on the 8th of November,1983 .Growing up,he spent some of his formative years in California,USA until finding his roots back home to the motherland.Music was a natural thing for Ball.J because he will spend hours listening to his dad play records.It was a daily routine because he will sometimes be grounded and kept indoors just listening to records for hours un-end.The past few years have been a learning and development phase for Ball.J in the world of music.He plays a leading role in the critically acclaimed Ghanaian Hip-hop group,SKILLIONS.Skillions is a house hold name on the Ghanaian hip-hop scene.Ball.j was a pioneering member when SKILLIONS began on the campus of Presec,Legon.He together with Jay-so,the group's founder worked tireslessly to bring SKILLIONS to it's feet.Apart from his skills as a rapper,Ball.j doubles as a producer and runs a production unit with Shao-Qan .His beats are adored by all.He produces for an array of young talents from the genre of hip-hop through to R & B and any other genre of music one can think of.Ball holds a Diploma in Business studies from the Institute of Professional Studies.Ball.j is certified as a man of a million skills,the spirit of a true skillionaire.I ask him what pleases him the most and on the contrary,what he hates the most,and listen to what the man tells me."I make music to touch hearts and love to please people's eardrums with my sound but I don't entertain the greedy and the selfish".

Shao-Qan's Biography:
Cyril Anaab Yankah,known in music circles as Shao-Qan is bringing a whole new style to the game.Despite the fact that the man holds a BSc. degree,he has in no way abandoned the deep passion he has for music.Born on the 27th day of June,1984,he grew up at a time when legends such as Naughty by Nature,The Fugees and Tupac were making waves.Qan grew up deeply inspired by the art and beauty of musical compositions from varied backgrounds.He took it to the next level when he got into Prempeh College.This is where he discovered and developed his musical prowess.Along with Sticky,a close friend and entertainment prefect at the time,they started a group on campus.There was no campus programme or show they were not invited to.After senior high,Sticky travelled to the States and Shao-Qan went on to the university.His musical life would have been abandoned if he had not met Jay-so of the hip-hop group Skillions.This is exactly when Ghrap was in evolution.Totally inspired by what he was hearing,he started making records with Jay-so and also became a skillionaire."It's been a very long journey for hip hop and r&b made in Ghana" says Shao-Qan but he believes the turf is now moist for Ghrap.Shao-Qan and Ball.J have been working together for some years now as a team.They run the Nu Afrika studios together as producers and song writers.Together,they have produced musical works for a varied number of musicians in and outside Ghana.Shao-Qan and Ball.J are now executively produced by Rickaby productions.

Screech's Biography:
21 year old Kelvin Ohene Kojo Okyere,popularly known as Screech in the music industry has love for gh rap,an acronym for hiphop and R&B made in Ghana.Born in 1988 in Tema-Ghana,Screech always portrayed a sign of musical talent in his days in junior high and senior high.He was an entertainment prefect when he was at Junior high at the Herman Gmiener school popularly known as S.O.S in Tema.In Senior High,his tutors also recognised the young man's talent and appointed him the entertainment prefect.With a golden voice,Screech doubles as a prolific singer and rapper.He's also a very good song writer.Screech is presently offering a diploma in web technology at the KOFI ANNAN INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE.When asked how he discovered his talent,Screech goes on to say that it is God given and was also inspired more by his uncle Promzy of VIP fame,not forgetting his managers Rickaby,Ball.J and Shao-Qan who have made his dream come through in the world of music.Screech is a member of the group Da Onez. With his cousins Storm,Pizzle and Classiq,he is currently recording their hit singles at the Nu Afrika studios and under Rickaby productions.

Krynkman's Biography:
Nixon Nii Bortey Ninepence a.k.a. Nudd Krynkman was born on October 2,1984 to Mrs Christiana B.Norman and Mr.Enoch Nii Boye Aplerh.A native of Nungua,a fishing town in Accra,he schooled at the following institutions,Nungua Presby Primary school,Royal Heights Academy and completed Nungua Secondary School in the year 2003.

After secondary school,he started to work as a factory hand to earn and finance his musical pursuits and dream which he realised while in secondary school.As a kid,he loved listening and dancing to good tunes.His talent was further entrenched when he developed a keen interest in the ragga genre of music.He discovered his prowess in this field and decided to sharpen his skills as a ragga artist.Krynkman is in a class of his own when he's on the mic.Though a ghanaian by birth,his fluency in the "patoa lingua" is unmatched.His interest in music motivates his ambition and he has determination.Will end this biography with his signatory salute,"FUNK JUNK ARRR YUPPPP"!!!

Rickaby Kwame Insaidoo is the young and dynamic CEO of Rickaby Productions.Although quite new in the business of entertainment,the 22 year old CEO has one thing and one thing only on his mind,SUCCESS.He stepped into the game with the mindset of Donald Trump and P.Diddy fused together.His intentions for the Ghanaian music industry are quite unique.He comes along with a mixbag of acts and artists who are also hungry for success and are ready to circle the globe raising the flag of Ghana high.Temperature is the first of his exploits.Being a childhood friend of Ball.j,he's been around through sunshine and rain.Hard work is the watch word and Rickaby ain't here for child's play.Quoting his own words,"be quick on your feet and be apt in your thinking plus if you realise a positive potential in yourself,don't hesitate to take the bull by the horns,I take over".
