Maxwell Konadu Urge Ghanaians To Follow Preventive Measures Against COVID-19

The head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu is urging all Ghanaians to adhere to the preventive measures against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease as outlined by the government and the health experts.

The West African country as of the morning of Friday, April 17, 2020, had recorded 641 confirmed cases of the disease as well as 83 recoveries and 8 deaths.

While the campaign on the safety measures continues, former assistant coach for the Black Stars and current head coach for Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu has joined in to urge everyone to comply.

In a video posted on the YouTube page of the Porcupine Warriors, the gaffer shared, “I implore everyone to take the instructions from the health personnel have put in place for us”.

He added, “Let’s wash our hands regularly. Let’s try our very best not to be touching our eyes, nose or mouth. Let’s consume more hot stuff, everything will be okay”.

Coach Maxwell Konadu further stressed that he is optimistic the pandemic will end very soon for football in Ghana and the other parts of the world to resume.
