Goalkeeper and Captain for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Felix Annan has assured newly-appointed Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu that he has the support of the entire playing body.
The experienced manager was unveiled by the management of the Ghana Premier League giants last Monday at a ceremony streamed on the Kotoko Express App.
Subsequently, on Wednesday afternoon, Coach Maxwell Konadu was presented to the playing body of the club at their Adako Jachie training facility.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, Captain Felix Annan has stressed that the players are ready and willing to support their new manager to ensure he achieves his targets.
“As I was saying, the feeling is always great. I always say that we the players we sign contract for Asante Kotoko so we will welcome any coach that comes in and we will work with him”.
“We know Maxwell is one of the best coaches in the country so we welcome him and then we congratulate him for getting this great job in this great club”.
“We are going to do our best and we will support him 200% so that together we can all achieve the target of the club”, the Black Stars goalie told Journalists.
The gaffer is expected to officially start training with his player from next week Monday to intensify preparations for the upcoming 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
