Head coach of the Ghana Black Stars, Coach Kwesi Appiah has named 23 man squad for the doubleheader in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana will host South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on November 14 before playing Sao Tomé & Príncipe.

The likes of Asamoah Gyan, John Boye, Kwadwo Asamoah and Christian Atsu have all be dropped from the 23 man squad.

However, seven players have handed a maiden call up for the clash.

They are Salisu Mohammed, Iddrisu Baba, Torric Jibril, Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Nicholas Opoku, Mohammed Kudus and Shafiu Mumuni.
