Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed will have to wait for an indefinite period as Russian side Kuban Krasnodar have no intentions of paying his debt anytime soon.

Rabiu is chasing the Russian Premier League side for salary arrears and portions of his signing-on fees unpaid, culminating into huge debts.

But the Russian side is not ready to pay any time soon according to reports in Russia.

Russian newspapers have reported that the Kuban side has started offsetting their debts as in player arrears but want to finish paying their current players before thinking about their former stars.

The Ghanaian midfielder left the Kuban side for giants Anzhi Makhachkala after suffering an injury at his former side.

The Ghanaian was hoping his former side could pay his debt while he makes an injury return but his hopes have been dented as the Russians are not considering paying him.

Rabiu is currently clubless and is expecting to land a deal before the summer transfer window closes.
