Ghanaian internationals Osei Barnes, Alhassan Wakaso, Gilbert Koomson and Bismark Adjei-Boateng all scored for their clubs.

Former Inter Milan kid Said Ahmed Said found the net in Croatia while youngster Emmanuel Gyasi struck in the Italian lower-tier league.

Lloyd Sam, Raphael Dwamena, Ben Acheampong and Godsway Donyoh all netted for their clubs.

Kwadwo Asamoah suffered a knee strain while in action for Juventus and Albert Adomah marked his full debut for Aston Villa.'s El Akyereko has a comprehensive lowdown on how Ghanaian players fared abroad over the weekend.

Manchester United humbled Leicester City with a 4-1 drubbing at the Old Trafford. Ghana midfielder Daniel Amartey assisted the consolation goal for the Foxes while attacker Jeffrey Schlupp came off the bench to play for Leicester. Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah was named on the United bench.

In the Championship, there was no place in the Brighton squad for under-performing Elvis Manu as they won 2-0 against Barnsley. English-born Andy Yiadom played in lateral defence for the losers.

Newcastle United earned a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa in the Championship on Saturday. Ghana pair of Jordan Ayew and Albert Adomah both started the game for Villa but Christian Atsu was unused by the visitors.

In the League One, Hiram Boateng was unused by Bristol Rovers who won 2-1 against Port Vale.

Gillingham claimed a 2-1 win over Coventry City. Burnley loanee Daniel Agyei was introduced in the 74th minute by City while former Arsenal youth goalkeeper Corey Addai was warmed the bench for City.

Reading loanee Tariqe Fosu assisted the consolation goal for Colchester United who lost 2-1 against Accrington Stanley.

Stanley Aborah Jnr. warmed the Notts County bench in their 3-1 win over Leyton Orient.

Portsmouth trounced Barnet 5-1. 18-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Nana Kyei warmed the bench for Barnet.

In the Bundesliga, attacker Kevin Luckassen came off the bench in the 83rd minute to play for St Polten in their 1-1 draw with Rapid Wien.

Meanwhile former AshantiGold defender Kadri Mohammed could not make the Austria Wien squad for their 2-1 loss against Admira.

Liefering climbed to the summit of the Liga 1 table after posting a 3-1 win over Wiener Neustadt. Ghana pair Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Samuel Tetteh started the game for Liefering while Gideon Mensah was introduced in the 58th minute by the victors. Tetteh was replaced in second-half stoppage-time.

Meanwhile in-form striker Raphael Dwamena scored his 8th league goal of the season and 11 in all competitions after scoring the opener for Austria Lustenau in their 3-1 away win over Horn.Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Kevin Tano scored the consolation goal for Horn.

Young defender Kennedy Boateng lasted the entire period of the game for dethroned leaders LASK Linz who suffered a 2-0 setback against Blau-Weiß Linz in a local derby clash.

Former Asante Kotoko and Wa All Stars striker Ben Acheampong scored the opening goal for El Daklyeh in their 1-1 draw with Petrojet on Friday.

Former Young Boys attacker Samuel Afum played for Wadi Degla in their 1-0 win over Al Ittihad in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

Nana Poku played for Misr Lel Makasa in their 2-0 loss at FC Smouha.

Hamuni Dramani was not in the Infonet team that pipped Parnu 1-0 but defender Michael Ofosu-Appiah warmed the winners' bench.

In the Bundesliga, German-born Ghanaian midfielder Gideon Jung played the entire game for Hamburg SV who slipped to yet another defeat after losing 1-0 against Bayern Munich.

Baba Rahman was in action for Schalke 04 who shockingly lost 2-1 at Hoffenheim to record their fifth straight loss of the season. Ghanaian youngster Bernard Tekpetey could not make the Schalke squad for the game.

Former Real Madrid Castilla player Daniel Opare could not make the Augsburg squad for their 1-0 win over Darmstadt 98.

German-born Anton Donkor could not make the matchday squad grades at Wolfsburg who succumbed to a 2-1 loss against Werder Bremen.

Defender Jans Gyamerah climbed off the bench in the second-half to play for Bochum who were held to a 1-1 draw VfL Stuttgart in the Bundesliga II.

Meanwhile Erich Berko was introduced in the second-half by Dynamo Dresden who were held to a 2-2 draw by Würzburger Kickers.

2015 Ghana U20 midfielder David Atanga was rested by Heidenheim in their 3-0 win over Kaiserslautern.

Elsewhere leaders Eintracht Braunschweig posted a 2-1 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf. Ghana defender Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh missed out of the Braunschweig squad with injury but Swedish youth international of Ghanaian descent Joe Baffo was introduced in the second-half by the league leaders.

In the Regionalliga, striker Prince Owusu was unused by Stuttgart II who managed a 0-0 draw at Waldhof Mannheim.

In other games, midfielder Mike Owusu was not in the Herth Berlin II team that lost 3-0 against visiting Carl Zeiss Jena.

Malcom Kentu-Badu climbed off the Wolfsburg II bench in the 68th minute to play in their 2-1 draw win over Meppen.

Eintracht Braunschweig II drew 1-1 with Havelse. Gyamfi Kyeremeh was unused by Braunschweig but 18-year-old midfielder Braydon Marvin Manu played the entire game for them.

At the AFAS Stadion Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen was booked in the 38th minute and played the entire game for AZ Alkmaar who drew 2-2 with Go Ahead Eagles.

NEC Nijmegen continued their campaign without a win in their last five games after drawing 0-0 with Willem II. Winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie was dropped to the bench while Reagy Ofosu played 87 minutes for NEC. Kumasi-born Portugal youth international Asumah Abubakar sat on the Willem bench.

Yaw Yeboah played 87 minutes for FC Twente and helped them to a 2-1 win over Vitesse Arnhem.

Former Ajax Amsterdam youth defender Leeroy Owusu was unused by Excelsior Rotterdam who lost 3-1 against PSV Eindhoven.

In the second-tier league, Manchester City loanee Thomas Agyepong was introduced in the 81st minute as replacement for NAC Breda who won 1-0 against De Graafschap.

Attacker Raymond Gyasi was not in the Cambuur side that posted a comprehensive 3-0 win over Achilles '29.

Promotion-chasing VVV-Venlo claimed a 2-0 win over FC Utrecht II. Ghanaian youngster Rodney Antwi climbed off the Utrecht bench to play but Johnathan Opoku was absent from the Venlo squad for the game. Myenty Abena played for Utrecht.

Striker Fred Benson was booked in the 90th minute and played the entire game for RKC Waalwijk who earned a point at Helmond Sport in a 1-1 draw.

In the Eredivisie Women, 19-year-old goalkeeper Paulina Quaye warmed the bench for Ajax Amsterdam who won 2-0 against Achilles '29.

In the third-tier league, Ghanaian striker Lovette Ofori Felicia scored for Sparta II in their 3-3 draw with De Treffers on Saturday.

Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom was not in the Antalyaspor side that shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw with Akhisar Belediyespor on Friday.

Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah warmed the Istanbul bench in their 2-2 draw with Osmanlıspor.

In the second-tier league, Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko was not in the      EskiÅŸehirspor team that drew 2-2 with Umarniyespor.

Lorient clinched a 1-0 win over giants Olympique Lyon. Ghana's Abdul Majeed Waris came off the bench in the second-half to play for Lorient.

Ghana youth defender Geoffrey Acheampong was not part of the Bastia setup that won 1-0 against Guingamp on Saturday.

In the Ligue 2, 2015 Ghana U20 defender Emmanuel Ntim was introduced in the 41st minute by Valenciennes who lost 2-1 against Lens at their own backyard.

Ghana international midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah suffered a knee strain and was seen crying after coming off the bench to play for Juventus in their hard-fought 1-0 win at Palermo.

Afriyie Acquah was not part of the Torino side that posted a 2-1 win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Isaac Cofie was unused by Genoa who drew 1-1 with Pescara.

Bologna held Inter Milan to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Midfielder Godfred Donsah was unused by Bologna.

Sassuolo managed a slim 1-0 win over Udinese. Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Badu missed the game with injury while Joseph Alfred Duncan was not part of the Sassuolo squad. But youngster Claud Adjapong warmed the Sassuolo bench.

In the Serie B, Benevento posted a massive 4-0 win over Bari. Former AC Milan starlet Kingsley Boateng could not make the Bari squad for the game but midfielder Raman Chibsah played for Benevento while Inter Milan loanee Bright Gyamfi warmed their bench.

Both Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Maxwell Acosty played for Latina in their 1-1 draw with Ternana on Saturday.

2009 Ghana U20 defender Bright Addae was unused by Ascoli in their 2-1 loss at Pisa.

Moses Odjer was booked in the 32nd minute and played the full 90 minutes for Salernitana in their 2-0 win over Trapani.

Ransford Selasi played 70 minutes for Novara in their 1-0 loss against Spezia.

Patrick Asmah and Isaac Donkor both played for Avellino in their 0-0 stalemate at Vicenza.

Daniel Agyei helped Ancona to a 1-0 win over Brescia. Three Ghanaian players; Nana Ardy, Alimeyaw Salifu and Prince Besea all sat on the Brescia bench.

Emmanuel Gyasi scored a 15th minute opener for Pistoiese in their 3-0 win over Carrarese.

Suspended Abdul Osman missed out of Partick Thistle's 1-1 draw with Motherwell.

Midfielder Prince Buaben was unused by Heart of Midlothian in their 0-0 stalemate with Ross County.

Joe Dodoo was unused by Rangers in their 2-1 loss at Aberdeen. The former Leicester City youngster watched the entire game from the substitute bench.

Spanish-born Inaki Dannis Williams played for Athletic Bilbao in their 3-1 win over Sevilla.

Meanwhile Kevin-Prince Boateng missed out of Las Palmas' 2-2 draw with Real Madrid at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.

Thomas Partey sat on the Atletico Madrid bench in their 1-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna in the La Liga on Sunday.

Razak Brimah continued his bench warming exercise at Cordoba after sitting on the bench in their 2-0 win over Gimnàstic.

Waasland-Beveren and Lokeren drew 1-1. Ghanaian midfielder Nana Ampomah came off the bench to play for Waasland-Beveren but Eugene Ansah could not make the Lokeren squad for the game.

Young midfielder Eric Ocansey was not in the Eupen team that suffered a 3-0 loss against Standard Liege on Sunday.

Bennard Kumordzi warmed the bench for Genk who lost 4-1 against Kortrijk.

Exciting Ghana defender Nana Akwasi Asare played in defence in a 3-4-1-2 formation by Gent who won 2-1 against Sint-Truiden.

In the Division One, defender Issahaku Yakubu played for Lierse SK in their 3-0 win over Lommel United.

Former Inter Milan and Genoa striker Said Ahmed Said scored the opening goal and inspired Hajduk Split to a 6-1 win over Cabilia.

Ghana striker Benjamin Tetteh came off the bench to play for Slavacko in their 1-1 draw with Vysočina Jihlava.

FC Copenhagen won 2-0 against AGF. Danish-born Ghanaian attacker Danny Amankwaa came off the Copenhagen bench in the 84th minute to play in their win.

Joseph Mensah came off the bench in the 71st minute to play for Horsens in their 5-2 loss at Midtjylland on Sunday.

Mase Nana Addo Welbeck came off the bench in the 72nd minute to play for BK Odense in their 3-0 loss at Brondby.

Godsway Donyoh scored the second goal for Nordsjælland in their 2-0 win over Esbjerg. Donyoh started the game along with Divine Naah and Ernest Asante.

Midfielder Wakaso Mubarak played 65 minutes for Panathinaikos who were held to a 0-0 draw by Panaitolikos.

In other games, Veria claimed a precious 2-1 away win over Panionios. Ghanaian youth midfielder Mark Asigba was unused by Veria.

Owusu-Ansah Kontor played for Larrisa who drew 0-0 with Olympiakos Piraeus.

Adam Kwarasey was unused by Rosenborg BK in their 3-1 away win over Molde.

Gilbert Koomson scored from the spot in the 65th minute to help Sogndal IF to a 2-1 win over Lillestrom. Striker Mahatma Otoo was unused by Sogndal while former Ghana defender Francis Dickoh sat on the losers bench.

Dennis Antwi played 82 minutes for IK Start who won 1-0 against Haugesund.

Former Manchester City player Bismark Adjei-Boateng scored from the spot to earn a point for Stromsgodset in their 1-1 draw with Odd. Mohammed Abu played the full 90 minutes for Stroms while youngster Abdul Basit Agouda warmed the hosts bench.

Valerenga slipped to a 1-0 home loss against Aalesund. Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Edwin Gyasi played 83 minutes for Aalesund while Manchester City youngster Ernest Agyiri was unused by the losers.

Osei Barnes scored to win the game for Pacos Ferreira in their 2-1 win over Rio Ave. Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso scored the consolation goal for Ave.

Emmanuel Oti could not make the Sporting Braga first team grades for their 2-1 win over Vitoria Setubal.

Moreirense and Vitoria Guimaraes clashed at the Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas. Emmanuel Boateng and Bernard Mensah started from the Moreirense and Guimaraes benches respectively.

In the Cup games, former Wa All Stars striker Kwame Nsor played 70 minutes for Union Madeira in their victory over Moimenta da Beira on Saturday.

Both David Accam and Johan Kappelhof played for Chicago Fire in their 4-1 loss at New York City FC.

Toronto FC and Philadelphia Union shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. American-born Charles Sapong played for Union but youngster Joshua Yaro missed the game with suspension.

Ghana attacker Lloyd Sam scored for DC United in their 4-1 hammering of Orlando City. Patrick Nyarko assisted the third goal for United.

Dominic Oduro came off the bench in the second-half to play for Montreal Impact in their 1-0 loss at New York Red Bulls.

Emmanuel Appiah was not in the Kansas Sporting City squad for their 2-1 away win over SJ Earthquakes.

In the second-tier league, Miami FC succumbed to a 1-0 home loss against Puerto Rico. Michael Kafari starred in midfield for Rico while Kwadwo Poku was in action for Miami FC.

Midfielder Derek Boateng was not in the Rayo OKC side that managed a 1-1 draw at Jacksonville.

Emmanuel Boateng started for LA Galaxy in their clash with Seattle Sounders on Sunday evening.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, TP Mazembe reached the final of the CAF Confederation Cup despite drawing 0-0 with Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel. Ghana winger Solomon Asante came off the bench to play the last 30 minutes for the Ravens but neither Yaw Frimpong, Kissi Boateng, Gladson Awako and Daniel Nii Adjei was in the Congolese side's team for the game.

Ransford Osei was not part of the RoPS side that drew 1-1 with Mariehamn.

Ghana duo of Evans Mensah and Anthony Annan missed out the Finnish FA Cup title after losing to rivals SJK on penalties on Saturday. Annan played the entire game but Mensah was unused.

Midfielder Reuben Aryana was in full time action for Ilves who posted a 2-0 win over PS Kemi on Sunday.

Patrick Twumasi was benched by FC Astana who won 1-0 at Ordabasy.

Midfielder Aziz Tetteh was in full time action for Lech Poznan in their 0-0 draw with Arka Gdynia.

Sulley Muniru played the entire match for Steaue Bucuresti and helped them to a 3-2 win over Voluntari.

Anzhi and Zenith shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw on Sunday evening. Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah played the full 90 minutes for Anzhi. Midfielder Rabiu Mohammed missed the game with injury.

Former Arsenal ace Emmanuel Frimpong watched from the Arsenal Tula bench as they drew 0-0 with Terek Grozny on Sunday. Defender Awal Mohammed could not make the first team grades to play in the game.

AIK managed to gain a point from Elfsborg after drawing 2-2. Ghana pair of Patrick Kpozo and Ebenezer Ofori played the full 90 minutes for AIK.

Enock Adu Kofi was excluded from the Malmo FF squad in their 2-0 win over Helsingborg IF.

FC Sion and Young Boys played a 0-0 draw. Ghana attacker Ebenezer Assifuah came off the bench to play for Sion but defeneder Kassim Nuhu was unused by the visitors.

Ishmael Yartey was in action for FC Sion II who beat United Zurich 2-0.

Ghanaian striker Kwame Karikari lasted 88 minutes for Stal Kamianske who bagged a point from Zirka after holding them to a 0-0 draw.
