Accra, Sept 10, GNA - Mamprobi Ken Harrison Babies under-17 soccer team defeated their Liberty Professional counterparts 2-1 in a league match played at the Mamprobi Hearts Park on Wednesday.

Ken Harrison dominated the match from kick off and pinned their opponents to their own half for a greater part of the first session. Their dominance paid off as early as the 10th minute, when Samuel Affum banged in the opener, which they held onto till the end of the half. Affum was on target again for Harrison with a clinical finish in the 60th minuet but Liberty who exhibited a lot of skills and brilliant teamwork pulled one back in the 70th minutes through striker Jelilu. The under-14 team of Liberty however, atoned for the failure of their seniors when they thrashed Harrison's under-14 3-0 at the same venue.

The match between Mamprobi Mighty Victory and visiting Oblogo Nikwabs Babies ended abruptly in the 66th minutes when the home fans invaded the pitch to protest against a seemingly dubious infringement awarded the visitors.

The referee subsequently, called off the match because his life was under threat.
