Ghanaian cyclists in Togo for tour
Accra, April 13, GNA - Seven Ghanaian cyclists are in Togo to participate in an international cycling tour dubbed "Tour Du Togo".
The team is being led by Joseph Alabi, with Shaban Mohammed as the Technical Director with Rudolf Mensah as the team mechanic.
The cyclists' includes Osman Mohammed, Samuel Anim, Francis Tetteh, Nuru Paddy, Mohammed Adnan, William Nartey and Prosper Agbo together with three other officials of the Ghana Cycling Association (GCA).
The tour, which spans from April 12-18, will have countries such as Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Ghana and the host Togo participating.
According to officials of the GCA, the seven day tour is expected to enhance relationship among countries in the West Africa sub-region.
Ghana's team is expected back home on Monday, April 19.
