WAECO spanks Abreshia United in a friendly match

Adansi-Praso WAECO spanked Abreshia United 4-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah stadium at Cape Coast.

The match which was organised by the two Clubs in preparation towards the impending Central Region Division Two Middle League for promotion to the First Division, saw WAECO leading 3-1 in the first half.

After referee Joshua Mensah signalled the two sides into action it was WAECO who shot ahead in the 10th minute through midfielder, Eric Adjouda.

Abreshia United forced the tide in their favour immediately after the early goal and levelled up the scores five minutes later through outside-right, Theophilus Mensah.

WAECO from then took absolute command of the game and scored two more goals through Tanko Saloo and Charles Toronto to bring the half time score to 3-1.

They continued to dictate the pace of the game on resumption of the second half and it came as no surprise when Emmanuel Nti added another goal in the 75th minute to bring the final goal tally to 4-1.
