The senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana will fly to Cameroon for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] today.

The West African country has been camping in Qatar, Doha for the 33rd edition of the tournament.

Despite the late arrival of players, the Black Stars played Algeria in a preparatory game on Wednesday at the Education City Stadium, a game that Ghana lost 3-0 to the African champions.

With the tournament scheduled to kick off on Sunday, January 9, the Black Stars will kick start the tournament against giants Morocco on Monday, January 10 before taking on Gabon and Comoros in the other Group C matches.

Milova Rajevac, having been awarded a one-year renewable deal by the Ghana Football Association [GFA] has been tasked to steer the Black Stars to end the country's 40 year Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] drought in Yaounde.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Philemon Baffour are yet to join the camp of the Black Stars ahead of the tournament.
