Crystal Palace striker, Jordan Ayew has confirmed testing positive for the Coronavirus disease while noting that he looks forward to making full recovery in no time.

The striker returned to England on Tuesday after representing Ghana in friendly matches against Mali and Qatar in the international break.

Following routine testing, Jordan Ayew was diagnosed to be carrying the Coronavirus and hence isolated immediately per the regulations in the country.

Confirming the unfortunate news on his Twitter page, the forward says he is feeling fine.

“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance.

“Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms”, Jordan Ayew posted.

He adds, “I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon”.

Due to the Coronavirus, Jordan Ayew missed Crystal Palace’s 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League today.
