Ghana new sensation, Kudus Mohammed will be offered a new role at new Ajax Amsterdam.
Reports in the Dutch media claim Nicolás Tagliafico is likely to leave the club this summer.
Ahead of the new campaign, head coach of the Ajax, Erik ten Hag has hinted that should Tagliafico leave, Kudus is likely to handle his role.
"The backs are now game distributors, Mohammed Kudus could handle that role," said Ten Hag.
The 20 year old joined Ajax on a five year deal from Danish side, FC Nordsjalland for a fee of 9 million euros.
Kudus scored his debut goal in their preseason friendly against German Bundesliga side, Eintracth Frankfurt.
