REPORT: Nana Yaw Amponsah Submits Development Plan To Kotoko Board
Renowned football administrator, Nana Yaw Amponsah has reportedly submitted a 5-year development plan to the Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko ahead of his naming as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club.
The Porcupine Warriors are said to be in talks with the owner of Lower Division side Phar Rangers as they hope to secure his services in the capacity of a CEO before football makes a return in the country.
Today, Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM has reported that Nana Yaw Amponsah who is interested in the CEO job has presented a document detailing his 5-year development plan for the club.
Though there is no hint by the Ghanaian giants of the possibility of making the football administrator the club’s new CEO, speculations continue to heighten with some reports suggesting that the deal is 90% complete.
Meanwhile, the owner of New Edubiase Football Club, Abdul Salam Yakubu has stressed that Nana Yaw Amponsah is the right man for the Kotoko CEO job.
If he is appointed, he will replace George Amoako who was relieved of his post when the newly constituted board of directors decided to dissolve Kotoko’s management team.
