The Northern Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Bantima Samba is on a 3-day tour of the region to engage Constituency Executives, Polling Station and Electoral Area Coordinators ahead of the 2020 Elections.
The tour according to the Regional Communications Director of the party, Mr. Sule Salifu is to strengthen unity among party leaders for a second mandate for President Akufo-Addo and the Parliamentary candidates for the party.
He said the visit of the Chairman will also among other things address grievances of party members and empower them to better communicate government programmes and policies to the electorates.
Addressing party leaders in the Tatale Constituency, Chairman Bantima Samba reaffirmed the government commitment to improving the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian by the creation of jobs through the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Planting for Food and Jobs, One Village One Dam, One District One Factory among others.
He however admonished party members to exercise patience and not relent in their efforts for victory 2020 to enable the government harmonise all the pro-poor interventions.
The Outspoken Chairman has so far visited Wulensi, Bimbilla, Kpandai, Yendi, Mion, Tatale, Zabzugu, Gushegu, Saboba and Karaga and is expected to wrap up the tour on Sunday in the remaining constituencies in the region.
Chairman Samba’s delegation includes the 1st Vice Chairman, Alhaji Sunday, Regional, 2nd Vice Chairman, Felicia Tetteh, Secretary, Ahaji Sibdow Alhassan Yakubu, Deputy Secretary, Yusif Danjumah, Communications Director, Sule Salifu, Regional Youth Organiser, Alhassan Ghana and Women’s Organiser, Hajia Rahana Aziz.
