President of Stewards Ghana, Harriet Nana Serwaa who is a youth activist received this year's young African leader's in the Gambia.
The event which was held on the 29th of September saw the enterprising youth activist scoop the award for her pioneering roles played in affecting her community positively.
The awards was given as a result of the social activities the stewards Ghana (A Non-governmental Organisation) are doing in the local communities.
The Stewards Ghana regularly organises parties for street children every year also use that opportunity to educate them the importance of going back to school.
The group also organises clean up exercise and planting of trees in the local communities.
In her acceptance speech, Harriet Nana Serwaa thanked the organisers for recognising her contribution to her community.
She also called on corporate organisations to come to the aid of The Stewards Ghana whenever they call on them.
