The immediate past Director of the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) Alhaji Rasheed Seidu Inusah who was sacked from office over security lapses is said to be sitting on vital information about the whereabout of the Takoradi kidnapped girls.

A Security Analyst, Adam Bona revealed that the ex-BNI boss was assigned to one of the neighbouring countries to negotiate for the release of the Takoradi kidnapped girls.

On his return, the ex-BNI boss presented a report which he recommended should be disclosed to the public without concealing any part of the information.

However, the statement the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah delivered to the press concealed vital information from the public leaving Ghanaians with a phrase, "we know the whereabout of the girls, so keep on keeping on."

Mr Bona who faulted the state security agencies for failing to interrogate the embattled former BNI Boss Rasheed, revealed this during an interview with an Accra based radio station, Kasapa FM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

It is not clear what exact information the security agencies hid from the Ghanaian public, but the Security Expert said, if the country security apparatus were serious of rescuing the kidnapped girls, the best person to dealt with is the sacked BNI boss who he claims is sitting on vital information which could lead the state security agencies to whereabout of the kidnapped girls instead of just dismissing him.

According to him, the ex-BNI Boss came back to Ghana from that national assignment with a lot of evidence which pointed to where the kidnapped girls are being held.

Mr Bona indicated that the security agency and government need to come out clear on the matter and explain to the Ghanaians and the worried families of the girls, why after sending the sacked BNI boss with the taxpayers money to go and negotiate for the release of the girls, no progress has been made and rather chose to tell Ghanaians they know the whereabout of the girls which they have denied also.

He stressed that it is evidently clear that somebody either within the security agency or the government is playing a mind game with Ghanaians, the families and the entire world.

A month ago, President Akufo Addo through the Minister for National Security dismissed Rasheed Seidu Inussah with no single reason assigned.

But some deep throats within the security agencies revealed that Rasheed was relieved of his post over security lapses in recent times and other issues relating to the kidnapped girls.

Priscilla Blessing Bentum was first kidnapped on August 17th 2018, while Ruthlove Quayeson was kidnapped on December 4, 2018 and Priscilla Mantsebeah Koranchie also kidnapped on December 21st 2018.
