Agona Swedru, Dec 14, GNA - Two Assistant Headmasters of the Nsaba Secondary School, Mr Vincent Arhin-Hayford, in-charge of Administration and Mr Fred Andrews, who was in-charge of Academic Affairs have been transferred from the school. Mr Chris Dowuona Hammond, Agona District Director of Education, speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Agona Swedru after Board of Governors meeting said Mr Arhin-Hayford had been transferred to the Swedru Secondary School with Mr Andrews sent to the Nyakrom Secondary/Technical school.

The District Director explained that the Headmaster, Mr Sam Kwamena Ansah, appointed the two verbally but the Ghana Education Service (GES) conducted interviews to fill the positions. He said Mrs Betty Aduhene-Chinbuah, whose appointment as Assistant Headmistress in-charge of Academic Affairs led to an impasse had been asked not to assume the post, adding that, a new Assistant Headmaster would resume when School re-opened in January. Mr Hammond pointed out that the GES would decide on the Headmaster who had been inactive due to ill-health and urged the teachers to co-operate to promote academic work in the school.
