The Students Representative Council (SRC) of Adobewura Community Senior High School which is one of the many E-Block complex built by the Mahama led administration in the Atwima Mponnua district of the Ashanti have called on the government, past students, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and other stakeholder an emergence call to the assist them in their educational facilities challenge.

According to them, even though their building ranks one of the excellent structures in the region, there's a lot they need to support themselves. They said the school lacks enough classroom chairs, a dining hall since the school was built to be a day-school and lack of many other facilities.

The student body also stressed on the poor road network they have within the area which they said expose them to dust and armed robbery attacks. "Most of our colleagues are vacating the school to other places due to these dust-armed robbery exposure resulting from the poor road network, and lack of many other facilities", they cried out. The students therefore pleaded with the DCE, the MP and the other leaders to come their aid.

The Committee Chairman for Adobewura, Mr. Kwame Owusu assured the modernghan correspondent that he and his team led by the assembly member have taken a serious step towards the problems especially the road issue.

He however gave the assurance that he's very optimistic the problem is going to be solved very soon judging from the level of commitment shown by the DCE, Hon. William Darko and his MP, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah.

When the modernghana regional correspondent contacted the DCE, Hon. Willaim Darko to inform him of the plight of the student body, he assured us that he will talk to the appopriate authorities involve so that the worries of the student body will be attended to.
