Monday, 24 October 2005 -- The partying mood for revelers at the Afrodisiac night club was cut short this dawn when a group of armed robbers in an unprecedented attempt, attacked the night club which is located in the Airport residential area of Accra.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the robbers numbering about five, attacked the club but luck run out for them when a group of military men on night patrol were tipped off and came to foil the robbery.
Citi News can confirm that at least two of the armed robbers were overpowered by the military personnel and as at the time of filing this story, were being handed over to the police.
