" Good governance is not all about infrastructure development only, but empowering the people economically. Infrastructure development is good but the people need to be self sufficient to be able to partner the government to improve infrastructure.

This is the more reason why Nana Addo led NPP government has introduced income generating policies and innovations to create jobs in both public and private sectors of the economy "

" If the people are economically empowered, they can contribute their quota significantly toward infrastructure development in their localities as part of their civil responsibilities.

They will also be less dependent on government especially the Assembly for financial assistance and others because they would be Self-sufficient to feed their families.

This policy seeks to eliminate poverty and economic hardships associated with the citizenry especially farmers and those in rural communities most if whom are farmers.

The Gomoa Central District Assembly in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, Hon. Naana Eyiah Quansah would continually support our gallant farmers to improve upon their standard of living.
