Cape Coast, Sept 15, GNA - A 70-year-old landlady who ejected a tenant from her house forcefully was on Wednesday granted five million cedis' bail with a surety to be justified by a circuit court at Cape Coast.
Adjoa Mansah, a fishmonger, pleaded not guilty and would reappear on September 28.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Hope Azasoo told the court that one Mr Kojo Asafuoa, a fisherman, lived in the house of the old woman at Cape Coast.
On March 22, Asafuoa returned from fishing and found that his room had been broken into and his belongings thrown outside. He inspected the items and detected that some items including 400,000 cedis were missing and informed the police.
