Youth urged to stay focused - Ebo Whyte

Accra, Aug.26, GNA - Mr Ebo Whyte, a renowned Motivational Speaker, on Thursday called on students to be focused and to take control over their life to grow into useful adults.

He advised them to stick to their books and concentrate on things that were relevant and be committed to things that were profitable. Mr Whyte was giving a lecture as part of activities to mark the School of Business and Management Studies (SBMS) of Accra Polytechnic Week under the theme: "Strategic Business Development- the Role of the SBMS Students".

He said: "There is no hope for you students unless you change your attitude and discard bad examples you see around you." He said as future leaders they should strive to comport themselves and live decent lives so as to become useful future leaders. He challenged the students to take advantage of their generation and work hard to meet the competition in the global market.

Mr Duke Ofori-Atta, Assistant Vice President of Databank, called on the business entities to research and find out how customers were reacting to their service to meet their needs and requirements. Mr Ofori-Atta said good customer care and management was the basis of every business entity.

He urged the students to be innovative in acquiring skills that would fit into the modern trend of business where technology was changing daily.
