Unlucky Thief Trapped To Death In A Well

A suspected thief, who attempted to steal a pumping machine in a deep well at Adienteim, near Takoradi, got trapped in the well accidentally yesterday.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) rescued him after close to eight hours in the well.

Eye witnesses disclosed that the suspect attempted removing the pumping machine from the well with other accomplices, who are currently at large, and accidentally got trapped around 1am on Monday.

They indicated that personnel from the Fire Service, who rushed to the scene, had a hectic time persuading the suspect to come out.

The unconscious thief was subsequently rescued with a rope and handed over to the Police.
