Four basic schools in the Amansie West District have taken delivery of large quantity of books together with assorted sport kits.
Manso-Koninase-Nkran D/A Primary and Junior High school (JHS), Kwaanchiabo D/A Primary and JHS, Akwasiso D/A Primary and JHS and Manso-Adubia D/A Primary and JHS benefitted.
These were a gift from Nafhas Catering Services Limited.
Alhaji Hassan Abdulai Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said it was its contribution towards efforts at not only enhancing teaching and learning but sports development in the schools.
He reminded the school heads to make sure that the books were fairly distributed - benefitted everybody.
Nafhas, a local business, working with Asanko Gold Mines, was established three years ago and employs about 250 people.
Mr. Kingsley Aidoo, a Circuit Supervisor of the Ghana Education Service (GES), who was on hand to receive the items on behalf of the schools, thanked the company for the gesture.
He expressed confidence that the gift would inspire the children and their teachers to work hard to improve classroom performance.
