It is said that when your time to shine and be celebrated comes, absolutely nothing, not even the offended hungry gods of your ancestors that have been left unfed and unworshipped for years can prevent that. But that certainly and largely only happens in the lives of God-fearing people with excellence. Excellence attracts attention, regard, recognition and honour. Everyone associates themselves with excellence because it is embedded in our very nature.

It is awesomely amazing to see young change makers and trailblazers who are imparting their generation against all odds with all what they possess. Such generational impart makers are undoubtedly few on our continent, and Ghana for that matter.

Edward Etse Aloryito falls within the category of such rare personalities. As a Physician Assistant by training from College of Health, Kintampo, one would have thought that his only work is to save lives of people with his medical knowledge. No! This promising gentleman, gem and national asset to mother Ghana who is a nominee in three categories of this year's National Students' Awards (NSA) - Ghana goes beyond the consulting room consultation with clients.

Where determination exists, failure cannot dismantle the flag of success. Edward who has been nominated for Student Personality of the Year, Student Author of the Year, and Student Entrepreneur of the Year in the upcoming 2017 NSA is an epitome of excellence in leadership, authorship and entrepreneurship.

There is indeed no seer to even predict how such a useful tool of our time should be nominated in three of the National Students' Awards categories. His humility, awesome leadership styles, and fruitful planting in the lives of students and the Ghanaian people do not only deserve these nominations but triumphant honour so we the upcoming ones can imitate.

On Saturday, November 11, 2017, Edward won the Young Writer 2nd Prize at the Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) 2017 Literary Awards. This year's GAW Literary Awards event marked the 60 years anniversary of the association. In attendance were high profile personalities across Africa from the writing fraternity including the Secretary General of Pan-African Writers Association Professor Nii Ayikoi.

Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) is made up of all registered authors, writers, poets, playwrights, and song writers in Ghana.

Congratulations Edward Etse Aloryito. Keep leading, keep imparting your generation with what God has blessed you with. Afram Plains is proud of you, Tema Secondary School (Temasco) is proud of you, and College of Health, Kintampo (CoHK) is proud of you! You worth it.
