Agona Swedru, July 4, GNA - Swedru All Blacks played a determined game to beat Sekondi Wise Fighter 2-1 in their First Division League match at the Swedru Sports stadium on Saturday.
After a balanced game in the first half when both sides tied at 1-1 all, it was Wise Fighters who resumed the second half strongly raiding their opponents vital area on several occasions but the stalwart defenders of All Blacks held them in check.
All Blacks gradually warmed themselves into the game and found their rhythm and following series of attacks in the vital area of Fighters, All Blacks earned a penalty in the 75th minute, which midfielder, Frederic Aburam converted the kick to ensure victory for his side. Aftr the winning goal, Wise Fighters from then took absolute command of the game and made frantic efforts to equalize but try as they did they could not find the net until full time.
