GNA

Akim Kusi (E/R), Jan. 31, GNA - The Gyaasehene of Kusi in the Kwaebibirim District, Nana Okoda-Darko III, on Monday donated ten packets of roofing sheets valued at 10 million cedis towards the rehabilitation of the Kusihene's palace.

Presenting the items, Nana Okoda-Darko, who is a social worker based in Connecticut, in the United States, said the time had come for Ghanaians to think of what they could do for the country and not what the country should do for them.

He called for peace and unity among the people at all times as a prerequisite for development.

He urged parents to take good care of their children and ensure that they send them to school to enable them to play useful roles in the society in the near future.

The Kusihene, Nana Akese Appiah III, who received the roofing sheets, thanked the Gyaasehene for the gesture and expressed optimism that he would woo foreign investors to the area.
