Rejoinder - Major Chop Chop Hit Nugs

We are by this release, responding to a statement authored by the former NUGS General Secretary, Iddi Muhayu - deen making the rounds on several media platforms.

The statement amongst other things seeks to create the impression that our good selves have financially misappropriated NUGS funds.

First of all, every allegation raised by Iddi Muhayu - deen is very false and is calculated to carry out his earlier threats of tarnishing our image because we failed to give our assent to several incidents that happened during our administration.

Secondly, we must place on record that every money disbursed by our good selves under our administration has been appropriately accounted for. We wish to stress that the monies mentioned in the audit report were directed towards the organization of the Union's Emergency Congress which was held in October this year and of some reimbursements. In fact, the audit statement itself did not suggest we have embezzled funds, how some persons have managed to ghost up non-conformances in the audit report in this light leaves much to be desired.

Whilst vehemently denying these allegations and making it clear for all and sundry that we have not embezzled a dime from the NUGS coffers, we also further seek to declare our preparedness to meet all organs of NUGS should it become necessary we re-account for every money disbursed under our administration for which we are accountable. We are equal to the task of probity and accountability.

Finally, we invite a full scaled financial audit of all executives who served during our tenure and we are rest assured in the knowledge that if there be any implicated it shall rather be those who so spiritedly met and planned to throw mud at us.
