Wenchi (B/A), Aug. 14, GNA- Wenchi Methodist Hospital in Brong Ahafo recorded 46 HIV/AIDS cases for the first half of the year as against 39 within the same period last year.
Mr B.C.K. Botwe, Administrator of the Hospital said this at a day's seminar for the hospital staff on Friday. He said the hospital was, under the auspices of the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC), engaged in providing care and support for persons living with the pandemic.
The administrator commended the staff for their good work and urged them not to rest on their oars.
He said statistics showed that attendance at both the outpatient and in-patient departments registered considerable increase within the period as compared to that of he previous year.
