...After Sexual Assault On Teenager Muscularly built 36-year-old Abdul Ramani Houdou was caught red handed with a 'cup full' of potent semen loaded in a condom. He had just ejaculated into the condom when neighbours at Dansoman pounced on him for indecent assault on a 13-year-old schoolgirl.
In an apparent smart move to outwit a possible detection of semen in the victim if he was caught, Houdou, a horticulturalist, allegedly opted to use his fingers to sexually assault his victim while he ejaculated into the condom.
That did not save Houdou from the grips of the law, and he is now facing trial before Mr. Williewse Kyeremeh at the Accra Circuit Court on charges of indecent assault. He has been remanded into prison custody by the court.
Prosecuting Officer Bennedicta Akolgo told the court that on January 29, this year, the mother of the victim, who is a trader, returned home after a church service at about 8:30pm and realised that her daughter was not in the house.
She said the victim's mother began a frantic search for her daughter and later found her and the accused person in her (mother's) shop in which she sells cloth.
According to the Prosecuting Officer, the suspect, upon interrogation, admitted having inserted his finger in the victim's sex organ and ejaculated into a condom.
With the help of other people in the area, Houdou was arrested and taken to the Dansoman Police Station where he was subsequently charged with the offence after the necessary investigation.
Earlier in her caution statement to the police, the victim alleged that after returning from school that fateful day, she realised that her junior brother was out to buy food for lunch, leaving her alone in the house.
She said Houdou then approached her and asked her to open her mother's shop so he could buy some cloths for his girlfriend.
The victim further stated that after opening the shop, Houdou followed up and started selecting some cloths from a variety on display. She said after a while, Houdou rushed on her, covered her mouth with his hand and indecently assaulted her.
