If we are to name individuals, who have been in the forefront of our democratic dispensation since the inception of democratic rule in Ghana, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo stands tall amongst them. He helped bring real democracy to Ghana after many years of military rule.

Without mincing words, I can say with all the strength in me that he is a leader we can be proud of as a country. Nana Akuffo Addo is 70 years old, and despite his age, he is strong and healthier than John Mahama. His assignment is always to help solve the problems of the cheated Ghanaians, especially women. John Mahama and his corrupt Ndc government know nothing apart from “woyomising” our money.

The Ndc government has been in power for more than five years, yet what is happening in Ghana is nothing to help the people. The economy of the country is now in shambles and my worry is how the women fairing. How are they able to put food on the table for the kids? How can they send their kids to school? How are they able to pay for the health services of their kids?

If you ask me, the current Ndc administration has nothing for the women of our beloved country. Almost all the social intervention programmes by the previous administration have been either mismanaged or cancelled, and if you are a mother with children, then I know the pain you are going through. Poverty has become the order of the day and families do not have enough to eat, let alone save for the future. Our education system is bad, there is mismanagement everywhere; corruption is now like a cancer spreading to every part of the economy, from the lowest clergyman to the highest papacy, corruption has now been institutionalised.

As a mother I cry because all the policies being initiated and implement by the government have become obsolete. It's nothing but mediocre prescription for the suffering masses of the country. The all round human development of Ghana is not a major priority of the government. The policies rolled out by the John Mahama led administration to tackle the problems confronting Ghanaians are deficient in common sense and thought. What a president we have?

Though the President and his propaganda choristers, led by Asiedu Nketia with Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Murtala Mohammed, Okudzeto Ablakwa as his backing vocals, are seriously singing propaganda hymns, the reality on the ground is one of total suffering. No wonder some within the Ndc even points to a failing economy.

How long can mothers and Ghanaians in general bear these hardships? Government has no excuse to mismanage the economy because as a mother, when a woman has extra sources of income, the family is well looked after. Cocoa, Timber, Gold, Diamond, Bauxite, Rivers, Forests, Wildlife, Oil, our Human Capital, Tertiary institutions, our Culture, etc. are all resources we have in abundance, yet we are getting poorer and poorer.

Let Mahama know that when the going gets tough for the masses, they stand up for their rights. The time has come for we the mothers of our dear nation to rise and fight. The time has come for us the Yaa Asantewaa's of our time to fight the status quo. The time has come and we say enough is enough.

So far the Ndc has shown us that they go into politics to enrich themselves at the expense of the suffering masses, on the other hand, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo who is incorruptible, has shown us that good and godly people can also partake in politics in order to bring hope to the hopeless. A true statesman he is, he has become the yardstick for measuring our politicians and hence a model for our politicians.

On the face of the pink sheets, everyone is saying Nana Akuffo Addo is our saviour and will be a better leader than the corrupt John Mahama. He is the one who is going to transform Ghana. Nana, the women of Ghana are waiting for you, truly we will witness your Presidency.
