Zambia coach Herve Renard remains in awe with the overwhelming support experienced during last Friday's World Cup qualifying defeat to Ghana.
The Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi – the venue for the deciding qualifier – was filled to the brim with almost everyone cheering on the Black Stars.
The Ghana players responded well by beating the Chipolopolo 2-1 to progress to the playoff stage of the qualifier's for next year's World Cup in Brazil.
And though Renard was disappointed with the outcome of the match, the Frenchman couldn't hide his admiration for the massive support for the Black Stars and says that is how football should be all the time.
“The game in Kumasi was wonderful for me even if I was expecting a better result,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“Great support [referring to the Kumasi crowd], this is how football is suppose to be all the time. Magic.
“I'm passionate so I love this atmosphere. It gives to you a lot of adrenaline. It was amazing.”
