Petitioners To Cross Examine KPMG On Report

Counsels for the petitioners in the election petition case have indicated that they have identified some anomalies in the pink sheet audit report submitted by audit firm, KPMG.

This, according to them, follows a careful study of the report the firm submitted to the court on Monday.

In an interview, spokesperson for the petitioners, Madam Gloria Akuffo said: 'By the rules, every piece of evidence can be subjected to cross examination if you so desire or consider it necessary.'

According to her, certain observations and comments which were noted on the draft report from KPMG had not been included in the final report.

'It has therefore become necessary that questions are asked of them to bring out those observations and comments.'
