Kpetoe, July 09, GNA - Mr Michael Adzaho, Agotime-Ziope District Chief Executive, on Sunday praised the Catholic Church in Ghana for maintaining peace among its membership.
“The level of unity in the Catholic Church is simply unimaginable. This is the kind of peace and unity we need in the country.”
Mr Adzaho said this at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of St. John Bosco Choir of the St. Stephen Catholic Church at Kpetoe.
He observed that the Catholic Church hardly recorded divisions and separation and urged its leaders to maintain the unity in the Church.
Mr Adzaho attributed the feat to truthfulness, discipline and respect for authority.
He commended the youth branch of the Catholic Church for their loyalty and peaceful nature and urged them to preach peace ahead of the December polls.
Togbe Gbewoza I, Ngoryifia of Tadzewu, urged the youth to be law abiding and initiate development projects in their communities.
