Seventeen spiritual books launched

Accra, Aug 31, GNA - The General Overseer of Pure Fire Miracle Ministry, Pastor Enoch Aminu, on Sunday appealed to Ghanaians to educate themselves with books in order to get out of the world of ignorance. He said this at the launch of seventeen new spiritual books, which he wrote "through the inspiration of God" to help readers to come closer to God, grow in spirit and to discover their values in life.

Pastor Aminu said many have not discovered the power of books, especially spiritual ones and no wonder, the devil often attacks them, adding, " Education is the best provision for this age, if you don't educate yourself with books you will be ignorant.''

The books are titled, the Untouchable Christian, Attack and Shine, Sound Wisdom, Rugged Faith, Knowledge, Appreciation, Don't Worry, A winner, Discover Your Assignment, Time, Disappointment, Priority, Erase your failure, Hearing the voice of God, Endurance, Discover the value in you, and Goodness.

The books were launched by seventeen members of the Church at an auction sale of over six hundred million cedis. Apart from the Untouchable Christian, which has the highest price of 20,000 cedis, the rest of the books were sold at five thousand cedis each. Pastor Aminu said, through books "we have intercourse with the superior mind, adding that books were voices of the distant and the dead.

Mrs Nettie Z. Blah, the First Lady of Liberia, who was present at the ceremony thanked President John Agyekum Kufuor for the assistance in helping to bring peace to Liberia.

She said Pastor Aminu has been praying for her family throughout all the turbulent times they faced and she came to fellowship with members of the Church and to express the family's appreciation to him for all he has done for them.

She urged members to place their trust in God in order to overcome all temptations and appealed to them to continue to pray for a permanent peace in Liberia, saying, only God can work wonders.
