Boy, 15, Sleeps With Sheep

A fifteen-year-old boy who could not control his sexual drive and allegedly had sex with a sheep has fallen foul of the law.

The boy, whose name was given only as Akwasi, allegedly had sex with the sheep in a house at Meduma South Africa, a community in the Kwabre East District in the Ashanti Region.

An eye witness, Kofi Amponsah, told The Mirror that on June 5, 2012 at around 8.00a.m. he was running an errand for his landlord when he chanced upon Akwasi having carnal knowledge of the animal.

According to Amponsah, he was amazed by what he saw and therefore raised an alarm which drew the attention of scores of neighbours to the scene.

Amponsah told The Mirror that he was angered by Akwasi’s indecent behaviour and therefore subjected him to some severe beatings.

Fortune however, smiled on Akwasi when some community watch committee members of Meduma South Africa who were informed about the incident rushed to the scene and rescued Akwasi from the angry residents.

The committee members after series of interrogations handed Akwasi over to the Mampongteng Police.

However, a resident, Atta Agyei, who spoke to The Mirror later said Akwasi had committed an abomination and as such it behoved the traditional authorities to pacify the gods of the land for such an abominable act.

The Mamponteng Police who confirmed the story when contacted by The Mirror said the case was still under investigation.
