Half-Assini, (W/R), June 11, GNA - A Catholic Priest on Sunday called on Ghanaians not to allow politics to divide them as the nation prepares for the December 7 elections.

The Reverend Father Dominic M. Ofori, a Priest of the Sekondi-Takoradi Catholic Diocese made the call when he preached a sermon at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church at Half-Assini.

Rev Ofori who is currently studying in a University in the United States and is presently on holiday in Ghana, also urged politicians not to create disunity in their quest to win power.

He reminded Ghanaians that after the elections they should remain brothers and sisters and say no to anything that could bring conflict.

He appealed to party executives to talk to their followers avoid the use of abusive and provocative language.
