
Accra, May 22, GNA – Symboil Ghana Limited, a Takoradi-based Agricultural company has made an unspecified cash donation towards the electrification of Adum Treboum, a community in the Western Region.
Mr Guenther Seifert, Board Chairman of Symboil Ghana Limited said the gesture is to enhance the much awaited electrification of the community, with a population of more than 300.
He said electrification will open the door for more socio-economic opportunities to come to the area towards building a new Adum Treboum.
Ronny E. Mosebach, Project Coordinator of Symboil Ghana Limited said the gesture was in line with his outfit's Corporate Social Responsibility, as the community has a lot of Agriculture potentials.
Receiving the donation, Nana Nuako III, Chief of the area expressed gratitude to the company for the kind gesture, adding that, the community is excited with the impending electrification project.
He said the project will boost their livelihoods and improve on the education of the area which is in a deplorable state.
