Winneba(C/R), Feb. 27, GNA - The Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Alhaji (Dr) Asomah Abu Bandah, has announced the introduction of a new Executive Educational Management Masters degree programme at the University.
The programme will be held conjunctly between the Galilee College, Israel and a European University.
Alhaji Bandah said this at a colorful ceremony at his investiture as the first Chancellor of the UEW.
According to him the programme will consist of four semesters, two at the UEW and one each at Galilee College and at the European University respectively.
Alhaji Bandah who has received local and international awards and recognitions, asked teacher educational institutions to include enterprise education in the schools curriculum, in order to support students to develop characteristics such as creativity and self-reliance.
"We believe the diverse cultural collaboration will create a truly unique programme, exposing students and faculty to diverse cultural perspectives from three major region of the world, to equip them from leadership in a truly global arena".
The Chancellor advised management to continue to support the Vice-Chancellor, adding that, "I will with my team of experts from time to time meet management to solve some of your problems through collective decision making".
He said the UEW must prepare students for the changing needs of the world by providing them with the knowledge and skill for solving problems.
