Jachiehene appeals to district assemblies to share national cake evenly

Adako Jachie (Ash), July 13, GNA- Nana Osei Bosompem III, Jachiehene (Chief of Jachie) has advised the District, Municipal and Metropolitan chief executives, to share resources make available to them judiciously to ensure the development of their localities.

Nana Osei Bosompem gave the advice when Mr. Mohammed Boakye Ageman, Ejisu Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) paid a courtesy call on him at Adako Jachie at the weekend to introduce himself formally to him.

He said evenly distribution of projects would greatly enhance the living conditions of the people.

Nana Bosompem asked the MCE to ensure an open administration and tolerate each others views towards the development of the Municipality.

He appealed to the municipal assembly to assist in providing schools in the town with Information Communication Technology centres to enable students to acquire computer literacy.

The chief asked the assembly to improve on sanitation to avoid the outbreak of diseases and construct a bridge over River Serman to link the community with Kokobra to facilitate the movement of the people.

Mr. Agyeman assured the chief and the people that the assembly would do its best to assist the community to initiate more development projects to improve their lot.

He said, the assembly would not discriminate against any community in the provision of infrastructural facilities and asked the people to honour their tax obligations to help improve on the revenue base to facilitate the provision of their needs.
