Lower-Denkyira constituents urged to vote for incumbent parliamentarian

Mr Dankwa Smith, Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday urged residents of the Twifo-Hemang-lower Denkyira constituency to vote for Reverend Ben Donkor, the party's incumbent parliamentary candidate who is seeking re-election.

Mr Dankwa Smith, who was addressing a rally organised by Hemang-Lower-Denkyira constituency branch of the party at Jukwa on Sunday after keep fit exercise, exhorted the executive members of the party to undertake a house to house campaign, to win more support for the party, adding that the party attached importance to the forthcoming election.

He reiterated that the party did not believe in violence and advised the members to campaign on issues and to tolerate opposing views.

Mr Yaw Agyei Baffoe, the Regional Youth Organiser advised party supporters to be loyal to the party and refrain from voting “skirt and blouse” during the elections.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Samuel Agyeibie-Kessie told the gathering that a number of developments that has taken place in the district under the NPP regime and therefore appealed to the electorates to vote massively for the party.
