The Leader and Founder of the Nyame Ntse Herbal Healing Camp at Gomoa Dominase, Prophet Job Kofi Anim, has called on the Queen Mothers Association to intensify the campaign against indecent dressing.

He said the attitude, which was an imitation of foreign culture was worrying in view of its negative effect on the spiritual and socio-economic advancement of the country.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Dominase in the Central Region, Prophet Anim said dresses that exposed the bodies of women gave room for them to indulge in promiscuity.

He said the behaviour if not checked would lead to more HIV/AIDS cases and other social vices and noted that the spiritual problems facing the young generation could bring untold hardship to the nation, if leaders kept mute on the canker.

Prophet Anim appealed to the Queen mothers Association to collaborate with the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs to press for a law banning mini dresses in the country.

He called on the Christian, Pentecostal and Muslim Councils, Chiefs and opinion leaders to intensify education to curb the practice.

Prophet Anim urged pastors, women groups, Imams and traditional rulers ban the wearing of such dresses to stem the bad practice.
