Defend, ensure NPP’s good works are ‘sold’ and highlight the ‘bad’ state of the country under NDC — Afenyo-Markin urge NPP communicators

Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, the Majority Leader has urged New Patriotic Party (NPP) communicators to promote the achievements of the NPP government while highlighting the perceived shortcomings of the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

Addressing NPP communicators, Afenyo-Markin emphasised the importance of actively engaging with the public in various settings, stressing the need for communicators to effectively communicate the government's achievements and policies, particularly in critical sectors like education.

He further encouraged communicators to be proactive in defending and promoting the government's initiatives in any language deemed necessary for the people to easily understand.

"Defend and ensure that your party gets the opportunity to sustain the implementation of major policies introduced, especially in the education sector," he charged.

Concluding his address, Afenyo-Markin reiterated the role of party communicators in disseminating accurate information to the general public, affirming that the success of the government largely hinges on their efforts.

"So, our dear party communicators, the ball is in your court; this government will largely depend on you to disseminate the right information to the ordinary Ghanaians," he stated.
