‘My GTP is the hope for every Ghanaian’ — Alan reiterates

Former Trade Minister and 2024 independent presidential candidate Alan Kyerematen has stepped up his message that his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) offers hope to Ghanaians.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, March 28, Mr. Kyeremateng noted his discussions with the leadership of the Trades Union Congress of Ghana on his vision for change as laid out in the GTP.

“My GTP is the hope for every Ghanaian; to build a prosperous, united and peaceful Ghana that provides equal opportunities for all, particularly young people, women and other vulnerable groups, to realize their full potential and improve their livelihoods and general wellbeing," he wrote.

The GTP is a five-year strategic development plan that Mr. Kyeremateng has put forth as his blueprint for transforming Ghana if elected President in 2024.

The seven pillars of the GTP focus on prioritizing the private sector, improving attitudes to work, fighting corruption, curbing the arrogance of power, promoting excellence over mediocrity, and making actions a greater priority than talk in governance.

In his post, Mr. Kyeremateng reiterated his conviction that the successful implementation of the GTP would deliver change that benefits all Ghanaians.

He believes the plan provides the hope and path forward for a more united, prosperous and just nation.
