The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not believe in the claim that politics is dirty, flagbearer of the party former President John Dramani Mahama has said.
He asserts that the NDC is committed to honesty and integrity in its dealings with the Ghanaian people.
Unlike their main rival, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Mahama claims that the NDC does not resort to deception to secure votes.
Speaking at the Frankadua market square in the Eastern region during his Building Ghana Tour, Mr Mahama engaged with farmers and fishmongers, highlighting the NPP's track record of criticism while in opposition and contrasting it with their performance in government.
He accused the NPP of failing to deliver on their promises and urged voters to support the NDC for genuine progress and development.
Mr Mahama noted the NDC will offer realistic and achievable policies if elected to power, while emphasising their commitment to addressing the needs of the Ghanaian people.
With the upcoming elections only months away, he urged voters to place their trust in the NDC for the nation's advancement.
