Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance Lecturer at the Central University, has admonished Mr. Francis Addai-Nimoh to retire from contesting the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) presidential elections.

Francis Addai-Nimoh has attempted to secure the party's flagbearer position on multiple occasions without success.

In the recent NPP presidential elections, he was among four candidates who vied for the position but failed to garner enough votes to emerge victorious.

Analyzing the outcome of the NPP election on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Dr. Otchere-Ankrah advised Mr. Addai-Nimoh, suggesting that it might be time for him to retire.

"Addai-Nimoh should not go again. He needs to be tired," Dr. Otchere-Ankrah implored.

The recent NPP presidential elections witnessed over 200,000 delegates participating in the voting process across 277 constituencies.

The contest, described as a 'showdown,' featured figures like Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who ultimately emerged as the winner, securing 61.47% of the total votes cast.
