Voter registration: NDC Bono East Regional Chairman commends Constituency Executives for fighting EC's agenda to suppress voters

The Regional Chairman of Bono East (Unas Owusu) would like to express his heartfelt appreciation and Commendation to the Constituency Executives and every member of the NDC party for their efforts, commitment and active involvement in the just ended limited voter registration exercise.

Their dedication to the cause of our party has not gone unnoticed, and their efforts to withstand the EC's agenda to suppress young Men and women from registering is highly commendable.

So far, a total of 39,816 new registrants were registered in the region, even though we could have done more if the Ec had acted in accordance with the rules of engagement ie Article 42 of the 1992 Constitution, as well as the Regulations espaciated in CI 91 as amended CI 126.

In this moment of gratitude, I extend a special and unwavering thanks to the *former First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Lordina Mahama* , for her generous financial support. Her dedication to our party's success is inspiring, and her contributions have made a significant impact on our efforts.

As we look ahead to the future, the Bono East Regional NDC is resolute in its commitment to securing a massive vote for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections. We pledge to work tirelessly, united in our purpose, and fueled by the sacrifices of individuals like Mrs. Lordina Mahama.

Let us continue to stand together, work together, and strive for the betterment of our region, our party, and our great nation. Together, we can achieve remarkable success in the journey ahead.
